Cultivating Creativity, Connecting Communities

Madison County Arts Council is a non-profit 501(c)(3) arts organization. It is dedicated to fostering education and providing entertainment by the sponsorship and presentation of the performing and visual arts in Madison County, Ohio.

Music & Arts for Everyone

Art is for everyone. Fine arts, visual arts, the stage, behind the scenes, and from the seats in the audience. Art is for everyone.

The Madison County Arts Council is proud to serve as a local outlet for musicians, thespians, and artists of all ages and to bring live theater to an appreciative community. It’s never too late to get involved! Audition for a musical, perform a dramatic reading at Sounds of the Season, or come see a show for the first time- we can’t wait to meet you.

Scholarships & Awards

The Madison County Arts Council is proud to present up to three scholarships to local Seniors. These scholarships are awarded each Spring at the local schools’ award ceremonies. Recipients are chosen based on the quality of their submitted essay, their past involvement in the arts, and their grades. All are welcome to apply regardless of post high school plans.

The Kurt Lattimer Aspiring Artist Award is an art competition offered to students from Madison County, Ohio slated to complete their high school education in the same academic year they are competing. This award commemorates the life of Kurt Lattimer, an amazing artist who left us too soon. The hope is this award will somehow keep his spirit alive in the hearts of many aspiring artists, something Kurt would be very proud of! Submitted work will be displayed at First United Methodist Church, and the winners will be announced at the annual Young Artist Showcase. For more information please visit aspiringartistaward.com
